Did a retouch project for a wedding yesterday and am not sure how I feel about the neck.  Looking for a critique on how far is too far with removing neck lines and such.  Obviously I went with removing them all in this case, but I'm not sure if this is something that is noticeable to the general public...

I would bring it back some and the highlights are looking blown out no information there something else to think about.

Agree on the highlights - I think you've done the right thing on the neck (and under arm) creases though. I'd keep certain creases depending where they were and what was the cause - facial expressions etc but not side of neck and underarm... My only point regarding those is it would be nice to pull it back on the front of the neck so we can still see that concave area.

Great, thanks for the tips guys!  This is my first foray into retouching, so I'll take all i can get! :-)

I was going for the over-exposed look, but didn't realize until you mentioned that I took the chest area a bit too far.  Thanks for that.

I don't see the lines as objectionable, as someone else said, she is turning her head - they are natural lines from the skin stretching. The image looked better before - less blown out, with details in the highlights. I would start over, and watch the details in the highlights, (my personal preference).

Bad angle and lighting. neck fold is irrelevant here.

These types of images are not for detail oriented retoucher.
