Hi I am 37 and want to do some part time mature modelling in the West Midlands/Birmingham area. How do I get an agency to sign me up?
Thanks

Welcome to MM,

You'll want to start researching local agencies. They'll have contact methods posted and their sign up requirements. Keep an eye out for Open Castings as well. Be careful not to get stuck with a scammer agency. Really research the name and see where it appears, how often and what the fan base/feedback is on each social networking site. Also research some of the talent they list, are they doing a lot of work? Are they big names?

Do a Forum Search on "scams" and check out the EDU area for Models. They'll have a lot of information for you.

Most importantly; it's very unlikely someone here or anyway can make your dream of modeling come true for you. Only YOU can do that for you but persistence and determination to see it through. If you depend on someone else to do it for you, you will fail and could lose a lot of money in the process.

Are you prepared to fight for it?

Hi Rachel and welcome to MM.

You certainly look great and have height to boot.
There is definitely a market for older models.

BMA is London based but supply models nationwide, so it may be worth expanding your portfolio
by doing a few tf shoots then applying to them. Be careful as you only want to be working with the right kind of photographers and you will get inundated with tf offers from amateur adult glamour boys.  . Ignore them and look out for really good photographers that may even like to test you in return for cool port pics, or try you for an editorial submission to a regional magazine or something. You have a great look and as I said I think you will be right up BMAs street. They have a 'classic model' division for older models so I'd start with them. But just get a couple more tf shoots under your belt maybe.
