Are you looking for feedback on one specific photo? You might want to say which one it is.

Yeah, that might help us to know which image to critique.

...you should learn to walk before you run.

Your edits are juvenile...

Capture some good images, and learn how to create them first - before you get all "Artsy" with PS.

Not a fan of the added background edits
Head looks out of focus
Shooting up the nose not the most flattering of angles
Due to pose and lighting you have made the models left upper arm the main subject of the image [Bright areas attract viewers eyes]

Just an odd crop for me

Wish you well

Speechless! big_smile

Practice just shooting regular portraits and get the hang of the basics then little by little increase the level of difficulty....Leave the photoshop alone please.

I have to agree...
Focus on photography technique, not style..
Good technique is a good foundation to look and style...

Step away from the keyboard!!!! Buy the book "understanding exposure" it's the best one I've found for learning the three legs of exposure, aperture, shutter speed and ISO. Getting a well exposed shot is done by balancing those three but there will be several combinations of them that will give you a nicely exposed shot, only one of those combinations will give you the shot you want artistically. Learn the technical stuff so you can get it right in-camera. I'd remove all of the PS shots in your port if you're wanting to shoot models, they won't want to shoot with you if you're going to do that to their pics.

Wow... I sat back pondering on a deep and meaningful reply , a response that might prompt you to question what it is you're actually trying to achieve with you efforts here.

Then I thought.  Naaaa... This fellow needs to hear it like it is.

These are really quite ordinary, I mean, even at a conceptual level, they are not good.
At the very least, if I were able perceive where you were coming from and possibly going to, I could maybe offer a little more encouragement, but that is not the case.

Photoshop gimmicks/tricks should never be used in an attempt to cover up for an overall lack of skill or you may wind up in here; http://youarenotaphotographer.com

As others have mentioned above, you should perhaps back up a little and at least learn the basics of what it takes to create a nice image. After you have a grasp on basic camera and lighting techniques, you could look at getting creative.

I was once told, you have to know the rules before you can start breaking them... Either that or be a naturally gifted artist.

And keep in mind that we all need to start somewhere

Good luck.
