My name is Anne, I am 17 years old and have just recently been interested in modeling. I love model pictures, I really enjoy looking at beautiful pictures. I have been to a casting call before for an agency (I went because I was approached) , and they were really nice but told me that if I were to sign on I would be one of their first south asian ethnic (commercial) model, and weren't sure if there was a market for me. I didn't sign with them however.

That was 2-3 years ago, and now I really do want to break  into this industry. I just want someone to be completely honest with me, judging from the amateur pictures I have, do I have "the look"? I know modeling is more than about having a pretty face, and is a number of complex factors, but based solely on my face is it truly worth it. I know my height is not up to par, but is it still possible based on my physical features for me to have moderate success as a commercial model?

* I have very large features, and prominent cheekbones.

You need some good Polaroids. I can't clearly see you from the photos you have.

+1 What Alabaster Crowley says, only, "don't take it into consideration", do it.

It's too difficult to comment on without decent images - sorry. Try to find a good photographer.
