The reason this is not an appropriate subject for a joke is because the upset and harm caused by racism is cumulative and not a case by case basis.

You've just reminded people of some extremely unpleasant and likely traumatic experiences.

If your goal is to spread happiness through humor, that's not the way to do it.

If your goal is to stir things up in a "clever" way and hide behind the humor as a defense for inappropriate behavior, then props to you.

If I remember correctly there's a rule against BS in the industry forums. This would probably fit better in Off Topic and probably be better received.

I won't shoot the Handcar Regatta.  It gets more than enough coverage.

Oooh I LOVE the women from there, they make GREAT art models.
Martians on the other hand are abrasive and usually has horrible skin. I think it's all that sulfuric gas they breath

I think everyone on this site would probably like to shoot someone else on the site for one reason or another.

I saw this thread when it was posted almost 2 weeks ago. I thought it was going to be about not wanting to shoot certain models because of their race. If the OP had mentioned WHY he didn't like shooting the 800 meter race that would have erased any doubts about this post.

If a word play joke makes you think of trauma, I'm sincerely sorry for your situation. But you should look into therapy. Intolerance, especially over a few words, is fascism, sad to say.

That said, way too many races are just too gross and dirty. Like horse races.

You may need to use a dictionary, Fascism is when the right and corporations control government or are the govt.

Ignorance is intolerable.

Your sanctimonious holier-than-thou churning of rote and regurgitated politically correct BS is worse than the alleged racism you are complaining about.

Give it a rest.

Ignorance may be difficult to tolerate, but please use caution and think for yourself a little before you start calling other good people ignorant.
