miracle temporaray face tighteners
Ha! I tested one just now and what the hey?! Hope I don't turn into a pumpkin and have my face fall before my shoot this morning. I'd resisted these for years because I figured any make up that came with a time limit just might be bad. However NOW I know why all the t.v. folks look like their upper lip is puffy, (its cause the face tightner is pulling their skin back.) Kinda makes me think how my little brother and I used to pull the sides of our mouths to make our lips look funny. He used to giggle his rear off and say it looked like I had two nightcrawlers! Its not that extreme, but still! Jen Jul 20 14 05:48 am Link My first thought was, 'Why would someone who has such a naturally beautiful face do something so dumb?' But that's just me... ha Keep applying that shit, and our shoot's off! /jk Jul 20 14 05:55 am Link About a year ago, I had to go into the mall to get to the Verizon store, because I needed a new phone. I look poor, and dress busted, so most of the time kiosk people leave me alone. However, I got stopped by one at a cosmetics kiosk who absolutely would not leave me alone. He was trying to sell me this face tightener thing for underneath my eyes, that he kept saying would change my whole face. That made me chuckle, but whatever. It was ridiculous, like $60 for a tube, so I had no intention of buying it but finally succumbed to letting him try it on me. It APPEARED to tighten the skin under my eyes during the initial test, but after I got up to leave -- because there's no salesman on earth good enough to hustle me into spending a fuck ton of money on beauty products -- finished phone shopping, and got back in my car, it was already caked under the eye, and sort of flaked/peeled back from the skin where he'd applied it. Clearly a waste of money, since it didn't work for more than the amount of time it took the guys to make a sale. Just as I figured. There might be products like that, that actually work, but I tend to believe pretty much every beauty product is a scam. There are a couple of Estee Lauder face creams that I really like, and I will splurge on them - but splurge to me is like $10. Most of the time, when I run out, I can find them at Big Lots for $5 anyway and don't even have to order on Amazon from the discount retailer option.
