This must be the most bizarre and macabre donation to Goodwill !

"...SEATTLE (Reuters) - Authorities in Washington state were looking for a person who donated three human skulls to a thrift store last month, and said on Monday their pleas for information had instead prompted the handover of yet more human remains.
...
Though there has been no breakthrough on the source of the Goodwill donations, the public information campaign has netted calls from three other individuals wanting to hand over human skulls in their possession, Seinfeld said.

I recently passed on the opportunity to purchase a vintage interchangeable wooden foot with a steel sole that was shaped correctly to fit a high heel shoe, about a 4" heel by my estimate.

It had a bolt protruding from the ankle so the owner could unthread it from the prosthetic leg and exchange it for a "regular" foot.

I got home, checked ebay and found out there is quite the market for vintage prosthetics, especially freaky stuff like that. So I should have grabbed it, would have made some money on it. I went back to Value Village the next day but it was gone.

I saw a plastic prosthetic arm at Goodwill last fall, it had "hair" painted on it to make it appear more realistic. I picked it up and it creeped me right out so I set it back down.

I would have bought the skulls though, everybody needs skulls.

I really could have used a skeleton while I was studying the bones for my class.
