Has anyone seen this movie? I think it would be super good inspiration for a shoot! I know it runs a bit dry but it's a different type of sexy that's seldom done.

I don't know. For the most part the movie is a vast wasteland of plot holes, wooden characters, and ridiculous costumes.

But I'd shoot you as Lucia if you can sing in German. smile

I have but then too I love Charlotte Rampling.  smile

It's got some taboo themes and imagery.  Even though were living in a different time I can see how some people might be very sensitive to it.

I did a shoot a while back based on the night club scene in the movie but left certain things out that might be offensive to some.

Yes.

It's usefull. Italian and french movies of the 70ies often have an interesting visual language.

I think the movie is a little bit over-rated.

Has been shot to the point that it's the caution tape of D/s uniform play.

If you like the iconography then you may enjoy the lesser known:

Which is a very weird but visually interesting film.

I'm not sure about Nazi symbolism and fashion - Bowie went there hard in the early 1980's and never really recovered from the (justified) backlash.  Some things just dont need to be turned into the commonplace by appropriation to sell stuff.

As for Nazi's and sex - it's an extreme power exchange fantasy I guess. But they were pretty nasty - again not sure it's cool.

The basic concept was used by Mitchel Gray in "The Lingerie Book" (1980 - St. Martin's Press). I thought he pulled it off pretty well, actually. Models included Chris Sarandon & Lisa Cooper.
