Hi all. Which pictures should I keep? & which should I delete?

August I have at 5 photoshoots planned & I am adding more. I am very excited about each shoot. Each one has a different theme & I get to work with a different person each time.

I have a the basic account & I don't plan on changing that anytime soon. I recently started a FB page for my modeling. wink

But since I'm only doing the basic account......that means 15 photos only! So please check out my portfolio & let me know which ones I should keep & which should I delete from the MM portfolio.

Thanks in advance!!! smile

Replace them all as you get new shots.

The images look like someone new took them and your expressions and poses aren't exactly the best choices either. You look new too.

No one does great starting out so it's best to keep them moving till you get the hang of it all and are able to pick better as well. It takes time to build a strong portfolio. It's not about just adding images, it's about showing your best and that takes time.

Best of luck!

This is some good advice ^

Some general thoughts, when selecting a photo, make sure your eyes are in focus, if you show an elbow or knee that same limb should have a hand and foot attached

Look for a photographer whose work fits your modeling style

Good luck

My thoughts exactly.

There's nothing in your portfolio right now that I would say should be safe from the chopping block. None of the photos you have right now are particularly flattering to you as a model.

Good luck with your shoots!

This may sound redundant but I agree with Mark and Marin.  I think the one from the low angle is somewhat interesting.  I might use that as your profile picture for now.  It may look cool at thumbnail size.

I hate to pile on, but they're all pretty terrible. With five shoots over the next several weeks you're sure to get images that are better than these.

Agree with the above, but something further you can do.  In 6 of the 7 photos in your port you have basically the same look and expression.  This is the most basic thing every new model must work on.  Get in front of the mirror and practice expressions.  Think of different emotions and feelings, and the expression that goes with those.  Practice delivering the expression for the mood you want to convey.

I'd say start over and delete them all fine a pro photographer who understands lighting posing, framing and composition.
