Are these too dark in your opinion?

The first one, the bottom image is quite striking as his eyes pop really well. In spite of his beautiful blue eyes, they're kind of lost in a sea of blue in the top one. The pose is better in the second one too, in my opinion, along with a better exposure (or maybe just the black and white being more pleasing to the eye).

The exposure is the last thing I'd comment on with the hand-bra picture. Why is he completely uninterested in grabbing this woman's breasts? Looks like he just saw the ice cream truck.

She looks very uncomfortable and awkward. Hand in a fist is not a good look for a woman in a glamour image.

The focus is pretty soft as well especially on his face.

As for the exposure, if anything I think it might be a tad under-exposed.

Well from what i can see there are some exposure issues and the female models looks as if she is being held hostage.

Did you take it on a cloudy day?

There are two problems I see, focus and key light.

You have one model looking one way and another looking at the camera with an awkward (no not a hostage look) expression. Each photo should have a "harmonious message".

The key light is unclear, meaning I'm not sure where the light is coming from.

The blue of the water bleeds in and is too vibrant, the scene looks a bit edited (as if the models were taken elsewhere and pasted into the scene). But not in a bad way, it's an okay pic, but the problems are key light and focus.

Okay guys thanks for the insight. i thought it was interesting how she had the strong pose and he had the soft one, it thought it was a nice contrast.

Any thoughts in these?

#1 is just ok. I feel perhaps a tad underexposed and the composition/pose doesn't do it for me.....but #2 and #3....simply fantastic. Particularly #2.....that is worthy of advertising.

Good work!

They're not too dark; they're too blue.
