GUCCI images - post production or lighting?
Hi there I've been always been interested in GUCCI campaign images. For this kind of look, what i want to ask is whether they get the skin tone by retouching or lighting techniques with color gel? If it's about the lighting, i would like to hear from you guys possible ways to have that. The photo: http://www.grazia.co.in/var/grazia/stor … _large.jpg Thanks in advance Aug 07 14 02:45 am Link In my opinion, is a combination of good lighting and great retouching, make up artist, stylist, etc.. I don't think they were any gels applied as you can achieve those tones with postproduction. J Aug 07 14 03:45 am Link Chester Nguyen wrote: In my opinion, all of those. Warm highlights and greenish cold mids. It's cyan filling light and warm key one. And more cyan was added in post. And another filling flash was used on set. You know what's fun? It's how her hair doesn't match the reflection of them behind. And bad hair retouch on read head. Looks like you don't have to be perfect to make ads for Gucci. And I've got a feeling they do not belong on that couch. A perspective mismatch masked by overall darkening. Mhh, I got confused. Let's call this art, so we can't judge. Sorry, I got carried away. It's just so confusing... But yeah, gels on set and CB in post. And a bad hair retouch. Aug 07 14 12:47 pm Link |
