The first two rows in my port are new designs, and most of them were just in a show. We had a blast on stage. (If you couldn't tell by some of the girls dancing in the pictures)

I want to know what you guys think of my new designs. Would you use them in shoots? Anything you'd like to see in my port that you think would improve it? Overall thoughts and opinions on my port so far?

Well, to be really honest, even though I like some of the outfits, especially these two:

I don't really feel that they are -that- eye-catching or out of the ordinary.

It kind of looks like Forever 21 with some exaggerated flare.

Some of the large skirts don't flatter the models, like this one, I like it but the skirt is just too loud:

Also, when making outfits for dancers, they need to be able to move freely, dancers kick their legs up 180 degrees now. So you want to make it fitted, build it over a leotard. Some of the dancers on stage look uncomfortable, tired, and stressed. You don't want the outfit to hold back the dancer.

But overall they look very elegant, but for some reason they all feel like they came from the same style or time period. Maybe try something vastly different next?

Btw, If you are ever in LA, please let me know, always looking for new seamstresses and costume makers!

I don't make outfits for dancers, I guess that was a bit confusing. My girls were all purely models, they were just having so much fun with the music and being on stage that they started dancing too. But my designs are mainly for runway. This recent collection was for a 'Summer of Love' collection so that's why they all look similar and within the same era. I had to make them fit the theme of the show.
