RULES, REGULATIONS, OTHER STUFF... GLAM 14 Photo Shoot, SATURDAY AUGUST 30, 2014. Glamour, urban, casual, goth, dark, boudoir, steampunk,rocker girl, industrial, artsy, Fashion. This Portfolio Building Workshop is the premiere photo-shoot for beginning and pro models alike. Studio shooting and tutoring in the fine art of posing in beautiful and glamorous images. Models can shoot anything they choose. The GLAM workshops are unique from group shoots because only 3 photographers are invited. Seasoned and new models are welcome, the fee is $25, and MUAs are never charged. GLAM shoots give models the control to decide the genres and styles of their images, and photographers help models find their best pose. The GLAM shoots are an excellent opportunity for models to experience a real studio photo shoot.

The Event - The studio we rent is a "bohemian" style college studio in Bowling Green. The studio has an adequate strobe lighting system that we leave permanent at the white wall area. Photographers are welcome to bring mobile beauty, continuous, and speed lights. There are two places to shoot: 1 - A large white fashion wall with strobes and a trigger. 2 - An autodrop wall with black and red. Typically a guest photographer will set a light system at the black area for the other photographers to share. Sometimes people shoot outside too in the alley, fire escape, and streets of BG.

How it works - The shoot will be continuous, with two photographers shooting most of the time. A third photographer will always be roving, shooting outside, breaking, networking, or assisting the other two photographers. Models will be revolving from wardrobe, to make up, then to an open photographer, and shoot for approximately 10-20 minutes with that photographer, then start the process over again. Model will receive at least 2-3 retouched images per look/outfit.

Photographers - The spirit of group shoots is trade. Photographers are expected to post on the event page (abundantly please!), at least three finished posting size images per look or wardrobe change ( at least 11"-12" big c'mon guys no itty bitty pictures). If this is something you have no intention of doing, please do not confirm yourself to this event. No shooting "over the shoulder" of other photographers please. Models have no use for receiving images with a watermark plastered in the center of the pic. And photographers, please do not post model's images on a "buy" page. Trade/fun comprende? Behind the scenes shots of artists working are encouraged, but no "double" photographer shooting of a model please.

Models - At a group event, models will receive some and usually the best edited posting size images from the photographer. Photographers are not required to do more for you than this event provides, for example: send large images, give you complete rights, send all the unedited images, etc. UNLESS the two of you make an arrangement between each other. These conditions are flexible between individual model and photographer. The event is about fun and sharing.

MUAs, Stylists - MUAs and Stylists are welcome to the event at NO CHARGE. If you are an MUA or Stylist, that is what we expect you to do at the event. You cannot be a photographer or model, if you want to be that, then you pay the $25 fee.

Assistants - One "assistant" is allowed per paying attendee, assistant fee is $5.

Food - Bring snacks, pop, entire roasted turkey, kidding. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES. If you bring alcohol you will be asked to leave the premises.

Rules -
1. We ask the utmost respect on these premises. Behave in a professional manner. If there is a problem on premises, we will address it. If the problem persists, security will ask you to leave, and you will not be invited to future events.
2. No shows. If you choose to no show no call to this event, you will not be allowed to attend future events. Sometimes there are good reasons so please let us know.
3. Cancelations. If you cancel with plenty of notice we fully understand. If we have a future event and you are also in cancel mode, then we have to assume it is part of your personality and it's time for us to part ways.
4. Photographers and models, please stay in contact on the
page, be active!!
5. No tentatives please. Select "maybe" if you are attempting to attend. And when you are solid as an attendee, select "going".
6. Attending the event means that you fully understand that ownership of images will be equal between photographers, models, and MUA/stylists. And that you agree to be included in the video produced.

One week to go!

I realize this is EXTREMELY late bit I have two sons who attend BGSU (one is in the fashion mercy program) and I will be visiting them this weekend. Is there any chance I could spend some time on this shoot as a photographer? I'm willing to pay a premium.
