Good idea, but poor execution.

I'm a big believer in the benefits of a strong local photographic community, and sharing references is one of the best benefits.  Good for you for reaching out.

But, in my opinion, posting a note on these forums is 'way too passive.  I recommend that you be more proactive.  Use the "browse" function to find people (photographers, models, and others) in your local area, and reach out with a personal note -- you will probably get more responses.

Better yet, invite these people out for a cup of coffee (on you), get to know them, create an e-mail distribution list, and become a resource to your local community.  Things you can do:
...  I send out a weekly traveling model summary to the photographers,
...  Compile a list of people & resources & locations,
...  Organize a meet & greet,
...  Organize a group show,
...  etc.
