Anybody worked with either?

Any other burlesque acts in forums?

The article in part talks about a worrying series of bans on burlesque.

This is the burlesque I remember. Growing up in St. Louis in the 1960s, I was able to go to the Grand Theater downtown and see the greats like Tempest Storm. The fabled Evelyn West and her $50,000 Treasure Chest, appeared nightly at the Stardust back then. She had her breasts insured by Lloyds of London. Today's burlesque is a worthy tribute to that bygone era. When I get a chance to see one of these shows, it is a real treat that my wife and I both enjoy. Sadly, when Carol Doda began dancing at the Condor Club in San Francisco, real burlesque went into hiding. I'm glad it's back.
