I am brand new to the MM community and I am a bit of a novice when it comes to photographing models and such. I would like to build up my portfolio, practice my skills and really sink my teeth into taking photos in a constructive manor.

I am a videographer by trade, but even that has only been 3 years or so now. I have ideas to shooting to create my own calendar, for the sole purpose of just seeing if I can. Sure I know there is more to it than that. But I am hoping to combine my video skills alongside my newly developing photography skills.

As a Los Angeles resident, there should be no shortage of ladies. My question is how does one go about suggesting trading modeling time in exchange for the photos I take, or is it just that easy and say it and see what happens.

I'l excited to be part of the MM community and I hope to learn lots.

Thanks

welcome, place a "casting call" in your area for what your looking for TFP/TFI  "trade for images"  and see if you get responses and dont forget your model releases etc..you have to be offering a style they are interested in and or would like for their portfolio, get/give all details straight upfront, good luck......................W
