NIKON-MOUNT. $849.00+HST

Sadly, I cannot afford to hold onto this amazing lens any longer sad  I absolutely love this lens, my only Macro lens at the moment, with the equivalent of Nikon's VR2 (OS) and it's amazing distortion-free optics (100% dostortion-free, I've experienced & can vouch for!), however....*sniff *sniff I'm not photographing enough paying work using this lens to justify hanging onto it sad  I bought this lens from Downtown Camera in the Springtime, and I haven't used it very often. It is scratch-free, ding-free, dent-free, crack-free, and in every other way is in Excellent/Like-New condition. Here's what B&H says about it in their advert for it:

"The Sigma 150mm f/2.8 EX DG OS HSM APO Macro Lens (For Canon) is a super compact and lightweight large aperture telephoto lens, with life-size (1:1) macro capability.

To maintain high optical performance from infinity to close-up 1:1 macro photos without accessories, this 150mm lens incorporates a "Floating Internal Focusing" (FIF) system. As a result, the lens also features a non-rotating front lens group which makes it easier to work with polarizing filters. The HSM feature provides ultra quiet high-speed autofocusing as well as full-time manual focus override. Optical image stabilization (OS) allows you to use shutter speeds 4 stops slower than would be possible without OS.

The improved DG lens design corrects for various aberrations, using 3 Special Low Dispersion (SLD) glass elements. This macro lens is specially coated to get the best color balance while cutting down on ghosting caused by reflections from the digital image sensor. The lens provides the utmost correction against lateral chromatic aberration which is a serious problem for digital SLR cameras.

Close focus capability of 15" (38 cm), with 1:1 magnification.

Three Special Low Dispersion (SLD) glass elements control various color aberrations and assure high image quality.

Offers Sigma's OS System (Optical Stabilization) allowing handheld photography even in low-light situations.

Hyper Sonic Motor HSM provides ultra quiet high-speed autofocusing as well as full-time manual focus override.

Designed for use with full frame digital SLR cameras. May also be used with smaller APS-c size sensors with a corresponding effective increase in focal length to about 225mm with most cameras."

Receipt-provided with HST#, of course. The hood comes with it, and is in the same condition as everything else. I have the bag/pouch for it with its shoulder-strap as well (shown in photo of lens with hood), and I've never used the bag even *once! The removable collar for tripod-mounting is as perfect as everything else too, of course. I don't *want to sell the lens, I'm just not making money with it hmm  If I was wealthy, I'd hang onto it simply because it's *that good! This lens is perfect for shooting headshots (mounted to a FF body), and portraits are very nice as well. On my FF Nikons, the bokeh is unbelievably pleasing to the eye!

My office is in the downtown core right below Yorkville, but if the time/date you're able to get down to me is a day I'm at the studio then my studio is at Ontario & Queen Street East. Parking down there isn't the greatest though, so evenings at the office (7/8 PM) are ideal!
