cheap, but not much use for still except as fill. for video, so-so. there are much better LED solutions - of course more money, but work much better.

The output of the bulb is 600 lumens and it draws 8.5 watts. When you group the bulbs together you can get a decent amount of light from them. One drawback is they seem to flickr and anything but 1/50th of a second, so your pretty much locked into shooting 24Fps.

Not sure of lumen vs lux, this one is 1950 lux at 1-meter.
Some friends were using it and it was pretty bright close up. The reviews are good and it takes the standard Sony battery.
The magnetic snap-on filter is a good design.
