I was wondering if anyone had tips on finding new emerging designers. 

I have found a few on model mayhem but there are not to many.

Can anyone point me in the direction of websites or any other way to find new designers to shoot for.

Personally, I'd contact design schools. Consider that students in fashion school generally need images for projects etc. and that while some will opt for friends to shoot it that others may be willing to pay a pro. Additionally, check your local papers and the Craigslist event section for fashion show listings as some will feature emerging designers who may be in need of pictures, also look for Indie trunk shows. Finally online fashion magazines can be an okay source if you're willing to spend some time looking through them
