RE: Cockroach?
I was wondering if anyone knows if this is a cockroach or beetle? It's completely all black except for the legs. The legs are like a brown in color. The photo just has some dust particles on it, and the white is the camera reflection. and another pic Aug 30 14 05:12 am Link Aug 30 14 05:39 am Link Fifty One Imaging wrote: lol Aug 30 14 05:42 am Link No expert, but I'd guess it was a beetle. Still, there are many species of cockroach, maybe it's one I haven't seen before. I've had luck identifying weird-looking bugs by googling a description of them. I don't remember enough about it to find an image now, but I captured some kind of Australian hornet or something once a few years ago. Aug 30 14 06:53 am Link Beetle. Cockroaches have slimmer bodies and more dark brown than black. I think. Aug 30 14 08:32 am Link Cockroaches are pretty easily identifiable. And if you get a really bad infestation of them, you'll see them actually run away when you walk into a dark room, then flip the lights on. I only lived in one house, ever, that got roaches and it was because I had a roommate who would eat in his room and leave dirty dishes in there. That's all I could figure. I've never had them before, or after, that one situation. Aug 30 14 08:55 am Link Aug 30 14 09:11 am Link It's either a broach or reetle. Aug 30 14 09:19 am Link Beetle.
