What has caught your eye so far?
What has you wanting to go to the Photo store in a month or so to check out?

Photokina officially opens tomorrow (sept. 16th) but some gear has been made public today;
http://www.pocket-lint.com/news/130939- … ect-to-see

Me I am very close to pre-order the Fuji X100T - Something I never do but I love the X100s I've been playing with last few months and the form factor, ergonomics and the major features are the same but with great improvements on existing features and a couple new ones like WiFi, live OVF Parallax adjusting, mini focus area EVF in the OVF window, Electronic shutter to 1/32000sec. (leaf shutter still up to 1/4000) ...among a couple others that slips my mind.

I saw that Cannon tele, Im not a Canon person but that is a beauty.

As with any lens, always research image quality from that lens before buying.

That's a beauty. Cant wait to see how it performs... I always like Voigtlanders [both old German and Japanese versions]

In use I'm not familiar with the Bessas and petzvals of yesteryear, but I'm glad Cosina found a name that works for them. As I understand it, this new Ultron's performance will be comparable to the screw mount version, but with updated coatings. I hope they follow it up with a short-tele (the Heliar or Apo-Lanthar) that has similar ergonomics. Along with the VM 50/1.5, it would make for a great, consistent kit.

Brocolor Siros Monolights...

Starting at $999, which I thought was pretty low for Broncolor.

+1. Summilux ASPH f/1.7 23mm lens (35mm equivalent), closer focusing distance of 20 cm compared to 30 cm for Leica X1 and X2. I'm guessing the bokeh at f/1.7 will be beautiful.

I'm willing to bet there is an identical Lumix model, minus the extra $800 or so for the red dot.

Debating on this (X-T1 silver) or should I hold out for a X-Pro2 model sometime next year

Can you please post a link to the identical Lumix model? It has the same sensor, lens, and leaf shutter as the new Leica type 113? Does Lumix have identical Leica X1 and X2 as well? TIA

It kinda caught my eye but the 4/3 sensor is a concern of mine after using the APS-C X-trans for the last year. I feel it would be a step down in IQ and range

FUJINON LENS XF56mmF1.2 R APD

https://1.static.img-dpreview.com/files/p/E~TS520x0~articles/4106200256/XF56mmAPD.jpeg

http://www.fujifilm.com/products/digita … f12_r_apd/

The only drawback to this upgraded lens [other than a $500 difference] is the slower Contrast AF where the present XF56mmF1.2 R (Non-APD filter) is phase detect AF... but that new Apodization filter is wonderful for portraits for the creamy bokeh and sharp as ever focal point that the XF 56mm R is known for.
