Hello folks on model mayhem,

I was wondering if I could get an opinion on my new work with the intense makeup and the yellow rope.  I am not sure if a the last two photos add to my portfolio, or if my skin tone looks too sallow in that lighting.

I have to congradulate you and the photog for thinking outside the box, but I don't think that this series helps your MM port.  In particular, your avatar image with the cyan (as it appears on my monitor) shading on your chest should be the first to go - IMO it's a very unpleasant shading for skin.

OTOH, you might be on to something that can contribute: think of this series as a test that didn't work out so well and go back and try some other poses and lighting.  No pain, no gain: keep plugging!

I don't know if the photographer caught anything that was a mix between the two photos, but I think if you did, it would be a good addition to your portfolio (though I would suggest you get rid of some of your other photos).

And as for the blue skin, I'm not completely against it

I dunno for some reason my eyes went straight to you left eye as it looks a little blurred
I'd like to see more of the shirt
