Sep 28 14 01:36 pm Link I really liked looking at your images. They are very nice and good quality :-) Sep 28 14 01:41 pm Link You have portraits down. Your selfie is excellent. Sep 28 14 01:58 pm Link The way you pose a person and create the composition will impact the image greatly Want a long appearing neck, lower models right shoulder and roll it back, this will lengthen appearance of neck Thread on bra strap models right side just above top Arch models back Composition, include models right hand place left on leg so it can be seen [The guide is if you show an elbow or knee include feet and hands] High contrast areas will draw the human eye, background where it meets tree trunk, and tree bark where it meets tree wood, the idea is you do not want to distract the viewer off the model [if it were the solid green grass it would be less distracting] Beautiful model, over all a nice photo of her Good image Lower shoulder toward camera and roll it back and down Move hair behind models left shoulder; this will help lengthen appearance of neck [Out of focus tree bark would be less distracting] Pose model to reduce neck wrinkles Detail, one lonely strand of hair on neck Lower and roll shoulder down and back, arch back If models chin were not tucked in this would be great Better pose see how her body forms a foundation for supporting her head Plus no neck wrinkles This is beautiful Lower models right shoulder, as in this pose you have reduced appearance of neck [You kind of have head facing one direction and body facing other direction, sometimes less is more] This pose is not working for me Lower knees below hips, arch back, place models left hand on railing, lower shoulder toward camera [For a true profile far eye should not be seen, simply rotate head more to fix] Place hips on angle to camera Green out of focus plant is a distraction Tighter crop photo right so model fills the space [Gap is referred to as a “gutter” which creates a place for viewers eyes to wander off photo] You have some great work, keep shooting Sep 28 14 03:54 pm Link Best 2 shots are the side views on the dock, and the smoking photo. You should replace everything else. Pay attention to the golden mean, in your composition. Leave space for people to look into. Recognize that almost no one looks good straight front to the camera. The posing starts with foot placement, and flows from there. If the feet are in the wrong place, nothing works. Try not to shoot directly into the shoulder. It is never an attractive angle. Work on your lighting. Too many images have relatively flat, uninteresting lighting.
