Try Titanic and Jurassic Park and Spider Man and Lord Of The Rings. All PG-13 films.

In fact, ALL of the 20 top-earning films of all-time are PG or PG-13 (with the lone exception of The Passion of the Christ, which was rated R).

PG-13 is the kiss of death at the box office? Looks more like an R is the kiss of death. If you intend to make a movie that earns real money, you keep it PG or PG-13.
