As one of the Bay Area's most creative photographers, I am interested in meeting similarly talented people through Model Mayhem. I am seeking to build my portfolio of glamor, fashion and fine portraiture through working with fabulous models, designers, stylists, and make-up artists.

For me photography is about having fun and enjoying the process of creating a beautiful, interesting or compelling image. We are here to test ideas, learn as we go, play around, make some mistakes, and perhaps find what works. I like to see how the model and camera work together to create a look that is super-real, maybe surreal. I'd like to collaborate with fashion designers and other artists to transform the models' appearance into something beautiful yes, but also meaningful and provocative in the grandest sense of those terms.

I used to study Aerospace Engineering in Minneapolis, but I got bored of science and moved to the Bay, where I've developed new interests. I worked in photo and video production for several years before deciding to return to school for art and develop my artistic vision. I graduated from SFSU with a B.A. in Photography and Painting in Spring 2010. I enjoy many forms of art and different styles of photography, but of course I am on Model Mayhem primarily as a way to meet people interested in fashion, glamour, dance, pin-up, and extraordinary portraiture.
