First things first, I am not really a fashion based photographer. I consider my photography to be art therefore when I work with someone I visualize the end product as a piece of art. I will always try to capture the emotion of the moment more than a pose...or at least a nice combination of each.

I consider myself more of an experimental photographer, meaning that I look for ways to find emotion in bizarre lighting situations or use of particular props (i.e shooting through dirty glass, experimenting with weird angles, etc).
It's intentional for my work to look dark, bright, over-exposed,  under-exposed, textured, or whatever.
I like to work with people with open minds and those who enjoy throwing ideas around.
I'm very easy to get along with and can seem somewhat quiet or withdrawn while I'm working but I assure you it's a creative process that's ticking away in my head!
I like my work to feel more like art than just another portrait, although portraits have their place as well.
I prefer to shoot in available, natural light as it tends to feel more like a capture than a staged event to me however, I do have a lighting system that I'm starting to get familiar with as well.
My work tends to have a darker sense of loneliness and abandonment. Please remember this if you are interested in doing a shoot with me.
I consider Photoshop editing a major part of the art of photography...just as a darkroom is to a film photographer.
Due to climbing gas prices I'm doing selective TFCD shoots if I feel that it will benefit myself as well as the model, however my rates are very reasonable. Please don't hesitate to ask me about TFCD but please don't be insulted if I decline the offer. I assure you it's just business.
What YOU get when shooting with me: 10 to 20 of the best, finished, high res images on CD (web size included). I work fairly quick with the editing and such...usually within a week of the shoot unless I'm working multiple projects.
