I guess I am considered a "mature" model, as I am almost 47 years old, but certainly don't categorize myself. I have been modeling on & off since I was 19, but decided to make it a serious career in 2007. I received a BFA in jewelry design & sculpture in 1984, so I always look at the three dimensional quality of things. As an artist, I try to visualize the photographer's creation, what message he or she is trying to convey. I always look at the overall concept.... texture, form, color, emotion. My goal is to create art, & I actually prefer editorial photography & series images to glamour.
I have met some really great artists through this site, some amazing hidden talent is available here. Yes, I do nudes, but only art nudes, and only with experienced photographers, or ones who are referred to me by people I have known in the business. I am accepting assignments for paid shoots only. I will consider a TFP shoot only if we can collaborate as artists.
I am currently working on a project that is very personal to me & am looking for photographers, stylists & makeup artists willing to trade. I am also in the process of creating a website containing my portfolio & artwork, a technical challenge for me.
I have been told that I take direction well, I come to shoots prepared with a suitcase full of clothes & an upbeat attitude. I am working on having an individual style, something different & interesting. Initially, I was only doing shoots for tattoo publications, but I have found that the more I learn in the industry, the more unlimited I become.

It will be awesome to have you at the next SNAPM. This evening was good, format is being fine-tuned, but the attendance is still very high, which means there is a great deal of quality networking going on and a sea of new and familiar faces, which makes it worth the trip alone.
