About Me

Hi!  I'm new here...

...make-up artist in need of porfolio update!  Seeking photographers and models to work with ASAP.

I do "Beauty", "Character", and "Special FX" make-up.

I discovered and started work in the beauty industry in 1999 at "The Body Shop".  In 2003, I worked at an Estee Lauder counter in a department store for a while.  I realized then, that "Make-up Artistry" was my passion, and I wanted to pursue my career as an artist even further, I then decided to attend a make-up school.  In 2005, I moved to Los Angeles, CA, and became a student at "Make-up Designory".  There, for six months, I breathed, slept, and ate make-up...I lived make-up.  I learned everything: film and television, print, wedding, natural, fashion, glamour and fantasy makeup.  Also, paint and powder aging, foam gelatin and foam latex prosthetic applications, rubber and vinyl bald cap applications, facial hair applications, injuries, bruising and tattoos, airbrush techniques...etc. And last but not least, life cast and positive construction, sculpting techniques, silicone negative and mother mold construction, running foam latex...etc.  Heh.  I can pretty much do it all.  I graduated from the "Master Program", ended up doing some freelance work in LA for a while, and then I finally moved back home to Toledo, OH.

I'm currently working as I freelance make-up artist and I would love to work with you!

Compensation: Depends on assignment.
