Having been a freelance photographer for over eight years, I have been fortunate enough to be involved with some very varied and influential clients. I mainly shoot hair and fashion with a fair amount of portraiture as well.
I love the digital age of photography and feel that it has allowed the art to expand at a phenomenal rate in recent years. To this end I am always up for experimenting with new techniques and ideas without fear of the anxious wait outside of the photo lab. I take pride in trying to achieve a distinct and memorable shot 'in camera' without having to resort or rely on the more saccharin post production methods. These approaches span a wide range of photographic techniques, from mixing colour temperatures and shutter dragging to shooting through objects and alternative lighting solutions. These ideas are not only fun to shoot but also help to infuse a sense of unpredictability and happenstance back into digital photography.
I have done a lot of work in the past for many major hair campaigns, but recently I have been collaborating with some of you guys on here for TFCD.
This has really been to bolster my love of funky/grungy/bold fashion and portraiture, so if any of you have any great ideas that you think I might be interested in, let me know.
