Cal Poly Pomona Graduate, graphic designer, a painfully imperfect follower of Jesus Christ, and a photographer who loves what I do (which is to say, nearly anything and everything) within this art form.
My style has a fairly wide range... although in terms of models/ portraiture, I'm completely in my element when shooting on-location using ambient light. I love to improvise! Not a big fan of carrying around a whole lot of equipment or assistants, although I will if it's necessary for a particular shoot.
My favorite kind of model? One who is open-minded, free-spirited, doesn't need a whole lot of direction, has a good sense of humour, and someone to whom goofing around and cracking a smile can be considered second nature. Not that a poker face can't make for a powerful image, but if you're a model, I hope you know how break out of character and just be yourself, every once in a while!
