Welcome to Soleil Photography & Design's Model Mayhem page. Soleil PD was founded in 2006 by student photographer, Erin E. Martinelli. Erin is currently in her senior year at Oregon State University, finishing up her Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Photography. During the past 3 years, Erin's studies have had an intense focus in the arts and, especially, in photography. She has taken over 25 credits in Film Photography, over 25 in Digital Photography, 8 in Alternative Process Photography, and 12 in various design classes, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

As a photographer, Erin does not specialize in one 'type' or 'genre' of photography. She is skilled in both illustration and documentary work, and has been hired for anything from large-scale equine show shoots, to weddings, to catalog and fashion shoots. She works with both a medium format film SLR (Bronica ETRSi), and a full-frame sensor DSLR (Canon 5D). One of Erin's goals is to include the model's ideas into her work, so that is it both a physical and emotional reflection of the model.

During the past three years, Erin's work has been featured in 3 collaboration gallery showing, and one solo gallery showing. Her work has been published in Prism Magazine, and occasionally in OSU's Barometer Newspaper, where she works as a freelance photographer. 

If you are a model who is trying to build a portfolio, Erin currently has a limited number of openings for TFCD work. A model release will need to be signed so that Erin can use your shots for her portfolio. In exchange, you will receive a CD of all finished/edited/retouched photos, and all rights to them. Erin is currently looking for models for both film and digital shoots, both in the studio and on location.
