Laurel means "crowning glory" which I view as the lasting impression, the final touch, glow or energy that gives notice and allows ones beauty to stand out and be noticed. Beauty comes from people doing what they love. It is the the light that shines through your heart when you are doing something you love. Laurel also happens to be my middle name:) Let your "laurels" shine through. If you are not having fun, don't do it! I have fun when I shoot. No uptight grumpy people please!
On the personal side, I have a lovely daughter that is a working model and has booked print and commercials. She keeps me up-to-date on the industry's business, fashion and trends.
I provide contemporary photography in digital or analogue formats in black & white sepia tone or color for modeling, acting or entertainment photo composites, zed cards / comp cards, portfolios, head shots, lifestyle photos. Head-shots and composites for actors, models, musicians and dancers and entertaiment talent is my focus.
I've had a professional camera in my hands since my high school photo journalism class. From that point on, I knew photography would be a major part of my life. I hold a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Fashion Design from a 4 year accredited program. I've been a model, worked as a wordrobe stylist, visual diplay artist and have 10+ years as a professional photographer and artist.
I will make sure your images have the impact needed to meet your personal or business goals. You will get professional images that will work for you on your next interview, casting call, public relations, or marketing job.
My sessions are available on location, with professional wardrobe consultation and styling to achieve a variety of current, marketable looks for models, lawyers, talent, businesses, actors and more.
