Some of you may already know me.  I was the owner of Porter Photography on Main Street in Columbia for a number of years.

After 20 years of photography, I retired.  Sold my equipment, quit, and ran away.
Now, like any good addiction, I'm right back where I started from.  I deleted my old page and started over with current images. Send me a friend request if you were on the old page, sorry.

I will still help models update their portfolios and I do a good bit of boudoir shots for housewives, but it is not my main focus.  If you are interested in working with me, just ask.

Mostly ,now, I cover live concerts for magazine / newspaper publication and I do brochure work for corporate owned clubs and civic organizations.
I am not looking to do any nude work unless you provide your own Chaperon and make-up.  Sorry, I'm just a 1 man shop these days.

Charlotte area photographers and models, spread the word:

William Aaron Morrison of the Lancaster news had his jeep's window smashed and a bag of gear stolen the other night.  They got away with a Nikon d300, mb-d10 battery grip, af-s dx zoom-nikkor 17-55 mm, sb-800 flash as well as a few other things.  If anyone comes to you looking to sell some equipment "cheap" I would appreciate it if you would please let me know.  These guys have got to be stopped.  The next window that gets smashed may be your's or mine!
