Moira Hassler

My name is Moira Hassler, to state the obvious, though I do also go by George. I'm a practicing freelance make-up artist working in the Asheville/Hendersonville, NC area. I have been working as a make-up artist doing special events, weddings, etc. for almost two years. I'm somewhat newer to photography and working with models as I have only been doing that for about a year now.

I am primarily self-taught, however, I have taken a course in stage make-up at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC. I also have been mentored by Ren Allen (MM#850238). I am currently in the esthetics technology program at Blue Ridge Community College. I'm hoping to refine my make-up application skills there, as well as cultivate a more thorough understanding of skin so I can be of better assistance to my clients.

At this time, I am primarily interested in paying work, however there is some limited TFP available for particular projects or if I especially like your work. Feel free to drop me a line as I am always glad to help people work within their budget. If you need a reference, please contact anyone in my top 12.

TFP/CD

I require a minimum of one head shot, of my choice, of each look that I do on a model. If you edit your photos, I request that you do the same for the photos I am to receive. Photos should be deliver to me, digitally, within two weeks of the shoot, unless we agree otherwise. I expect the photos to be high resolution, if possible, so I may print them for my physical portfolio.
Additionally, products are expensive, especially now. In light of this fact, I do require a small kit fee in exchange for my hard work, attention, dedication, and products. 

I use nothing but high quality brands in my professional kit. MAC is my brand of choice, though by no means the only one in my kit.

I am currently a full-time student, and as such, my time is a bit more limited than I would like. I am completely unavailable 8AM-3PM Monday-Thursday. I have an additional class 1:45PM to 3:00PM on Fridays.

November 15th and 16th - Out of town for esthetics/make-up artistry conference
November 20th - Shoot with Moonlight photography and Grace Welsh
November 21st - Shoot with Photos by Nicholas and Jas (Tentative)
November 25th through November 29th - Out of town for the holidays
