Photographing models at import events sparked my interest in model photography, but the shooting conditions are fairly constrained, so I want to develop experience with artistic and creative portraits.

I am available for TF* work that will allow me the chance to diversify and improve my portfolio, and can make it up to Los Angeles or Riverside fairly easily if needed.

I enjoy working outdoors shooting in natural light, although I'm getting quite comfortable with mixed light situations and light modifiers.  A lot of times its the simple, "everyday" casual shots that stand out to me, and I try to coax out the natural beauty and charm to let them shine through. I am a fan of beauty shots to try to capture certain looks and emotions.

With regards to post-processing, I insist on staying true to the original image. I'm happy to do basic glamour retouching, but I won't do anything I feel is misrepresentative.

I've had the pleasure of shooting with a number of experienced working models, but I also enjoy collaborating with beginner models because I'm trying to improve my coaching. I'm comfortable directing a session, but I prefer sessions to be a cooperative effort, and integrating model suggestions are usually for everyone's benefit.  Let's find a time to get together and let's shoot!
