Latifu Laoye is a young creative; his photographic practice is directly concerned with human representation coupled with computer enhancement. Latifu’s work is routed in the “portraiture” genre however he is influenced by fashion and creating uniquely personal imagery.

The work presented here demonstrates the command Latifu has over the photographic medium; he is trained in both traditional and digital photography and uses each medium to create his personal vision.

Latifu’s often presents a simplistic image to the viewer, however each image created has been developed and honed with research, idea development and inventive experimentation, paramount importance being placed on the final visual impact.
