Hi, and thanks for taking the time to view my profile.
Ive been modelling since Xmas '08 and so far I have appeared in newspapers, catalogues, websites, runways, workshops, and my face even hangs on the walls of cafes, restaurants, and clothing shops.
I absolutely loooooove what I do, and I think this shows in many of the images I appear in.
For me photography is more than just an art form, and to be the subject of so many fantastic artistic colaborations from so many talented photographers is such an honour to me.
I also love that with this job comes travel - Ive been blessed to see some really beautiful parts of NSW with some of my photo shoots. I live in Sydney's inner west, and so far the furthest my travel has taken me is Coff's Harbour, but I would love to be able to go interstate with my work, and possibly even overseas in the future.
My main interests are fashion, bridal, and creative photography, and I love being able to work with a photographer and brainstorm with them for a few days before a shoot. It gives the model and photographer a nice bond, and the shoot usually turns out so much more interesting and creative.
Some of the things Ive been involved in have been awesome, really out of the ordinary, and I live for that.
While it's nice to be pampered for the fashion and glamour shoots, its also nice to be allowed to unleash my creative side occasionally and work on something really unusual. For some reason when I'm given free roam to work on an idea for a photographer when we are doing a workshop or creative shoot, my imagination usually takes me to dark places and we end up with a really evil result (there is usually death, blood, goth scenes, vampires etc....) but as you will see from some of the stuff in my port, its all in good fun, and all in the name of art
I am also interested in acting and hosting; I went to a performing arts high school and have a diploma in clowning, so I guess you could say I am far from shy
Recently I have really been enjoying doing catalogue shoots, and have a change time between outfits of approx 7 - 10 seconds unassisted and about 5 seconds assisted. This is of course, only for your regular high fashion outfits, that are uncomplicated to get into; bridal dresses obviously take a bit longer due to all the lacing at the back of the dresses.
But either way I am quite speedy and am able to change in next to no time, and I can also nail a pose in only one or 2 shots. Usually it's just the one unless Im wearing super duper stillettos and lose my balance
I am still doing TFP/CD shoots, but only one per month, and only for real 'out there' offers.
And sorry but I don't do nudes/sheers/implied nudes/swimsuits, or lingerie. Please respect that I am a mother, and just don't ask me. No amount of begging or sweet talking will make me change my mind, as that is not the avenue I want to take with my modelling.
