Background Info

I am an emerging Photographer and Designer/Artist from Western Sydney, Australia.
My grandfather (Jose David) was an artist for over 50 years and I guess has some of his creative blood in me. I have studied fine arts photography, graphic design, commercial photography, web design at TAFE and various community college based photo/art courses since 2000 and even after 8 years of studying and working in the industry find that there’s still so much to learn.
I like experimenting with all styles, genres of photography and mixed media and always aim at producing aesthetically pleasing imagery. I have all my own equipment from cameras to studio lights/backgrounds and large format printers that I have purchased over the years but the high cost of space hasn’t allowed me to set up a permanent studio so I keep it all bagged and portable to set up in anywhere needed -including outdoor locations. The main thing with me is that I’ve taken the all rounder route instead of specialising. This allows me to photograph, colour correct/retouch, print and in some cases frame with little outsourcing required.

After 5 years working full time for one photo company, and 3 years part time weekends for another I’ve recently decided to go out on my own and am now full time freelancing.  Due to privacy/ownership/copyright I can’t use any of the images & works I’ve done for any of them in my portfolios so now in the process of making a new one under my own name.

If anyone is interested in someone who can go from photography to retouching and printing then feel free to contact me. My current collection of equipment allows me to shoot a lot of different styles so you can show me what you want and I’ll try my best to give you that look.

TFP/TFCD
Each month I will be available for a few TFP/TFCD shoots mostly on weekdays as weddings and paid shoots take up most the weekends.
Can do location shoot or set up studio equipment anywhere with enough space. If you have a concept or idea ready that would benefit both our portfolios – feel free to contact me.
All shoots whether paid for or not is still taken professionally and please notify ASAP if your situation changes and can’t make it or just running late.
*All models involved will have to sign a general model release.
Generally I will give you an online proofs link where you can select images you want which I'll retouch/stylise if needed usually about a week after the shoot date. I will then either post them to your provided address or give hand them to you.
Additional prints in various sizes as well as stretched canvas are also available at set prices if you’re interested and can print media up to 44" wide.

Times to receive all your images varies from a few days right up a month depending on load and remember that paid jobs  always take priority.

Please keep in mind that although there is no monetary transfers on TFP/TFCD that it still does cost money to do – mostly on the photographer’s behalf as well as MUA and Stylists. Equipment and materials aren’t cheap and neither is the time to produce a final product/image.
