ABOUT ME:
I have been modeling since I was a teenager in Canada for print and runway, simultaneously building a career as a writer/multimedia artist. I moved to New York for my art a couple of years ago and scored a Camel cigarettes ad. Since then I have been shooting a lot of specialty retro and pin-up work. I am interested in storytelling.
I am a chameleon who likes to transform into different characters. I am extremely professional and come to shoots with wardrobe, accessories and a variety of hairpieces. I consider all of my modeling work an artistic collaboration and I take direction well.
My look is classic retro, and my skin is close to flawless. I have black hair now. I will not shoot nudes although I will do implied nudes if I am comfortable with the photographer.
I am six-foot-one and a size 8. I have curves, so don't expect a stick-figure. I can do my own hair and make-up if needed, but I prefer to work with a make-up artist to get a different look.
Please contact me for my rates. I am very busy and I will only consider TFP or TFCD with talented, experienced photographers who are 100% business and who will give me something new for my portfolio.
I will sign a model release, but I also ask that photographers sign my release granting me permission to use the photographs in my publishing projects, properly credited of course. I am working on a series of 'Pin-Up Poet' books that combine my poetry with photos depicting feminine archetypes, usually in a retro style.
I live in New York but frequently travel.
