About me:

My name is Kristine Diven and I am a passionate female photographer who recently located herself in Detroit MI from NY. I come equipped with tons of props & costuming, and a small 5 pound yorkie (MM#1014653) and a three pound Chihuahua. I travel a lot for my love & pursuit of abandoned/decayed settings and adventure, so I offer shoots in other areas as well. I spend my time mainly between New York and Detroit, but visit DC every two months, and travel up and down the east coast very regularly. And now I will be hitting Chicago bi-monthly!  I try to offer reduced rates for quick natural light head shots for MM members just starting out or in a need of an update a few times per year, but of course have various packages that suit clients with more standards needs and budgets. Email me for rates. I love shooting fashion, couture, pin up, head shots, natural light shots, nudes, victorian steampunk and shoots with darker themes.

I shoot under a few aliases, this portfolio is my more alternative fashion work shot in 2006-2009, newer work, including my 2009-2011 fine art  project of almost 200 nude self portraits in abandoned buildings across America, can be seen on my Detroit profiles. I strongly prefer interesting scenes to plain paper backdrops, both in studio or on location, and I have multiple sets designed in my studio and also scout locations daily. Always looking for agency look models and models willing to do tasteful nudes (though sadly, I rarely find free time to TF...) I love wardrobe though, and am interested in finding experienced stylists to work with for dramatic over the top editorial publication work.

My styling profile on MM is located here: http://modelmayhem.com/member.php?id=719320 I will accept paid work for styling but remember my time is valuable (and limited) in whatever I do, and my victoriana, medical/neck braces, vintage lingerie, latex collections and other props are fragile and important to me. So I usually won't do it trade unless we are doing something really unique or beneficial. I'm a very friendly maternal person, but am also intensely passionate about life. My art photography, my studio, my gallery and my travels keep my schedule tight, and my free time is spent with family, best friends, doing volunteer work and helping others.
