I started out mainly painting surroundings and drawing from life. I am currently working on figurative drawings and paintings in both compositional and focal perspectives. With figurative work I try to capture a sense of drama, intrigue, tension or provoke thought. Some work may be all about the portrait, character - mood of the moment - while others focus on figure lines in correlation to the surroundings.
