I don't do just straight shooting. My shoots have an artistic goal in mind when I start. My approach to photography with the models I work with is free and open, allowing the model to express her or himself. My goal is to help models develop their portfolio and help them with their style. My photos are never straight out of the camera, unless the model requests it. I always will work the image to extract all the image has to offer, and bring the image to a state of artistic expression.
One note about editing my work:

I have had a couple of the models that I have worked with either edit my photos themselves or have had them re-edited by someone else, this is a no-no in my book. I ask all the models that shoot with me not to have my photos edited in any way by themselves or anyone else. These are "copyrighted" images, and frankly you don't have the right to change the "work" I have created. I have a certain look in mind when I create a photo, and to change it in any way would destroy the look and feel that I was going for when the image was shot. I mean really would a model like it if I placed their head on another body because I thought the other body looked better, I think not. I feel you only have two options when it comes to my work, ask me to give you a version of the photo that you are more happy with or just don't post it, but don't have someone else change it, thats just bad manners.

One note about friend requests. I have no problem with them, but if you would like to send me a friend request, I would really appreciate a portfolio tag or photo comment. I don't mind networking, thats what a lot of this is all about, but comments on my work are greatly appreciated. So if you would like to send me a friend request then be a friend and comment on a photo or tag my port. We all like to be praised for our work, photographers as well as models. Also if you comment on a photo of mine, please drop by the models port and comment on hers to, I credit everyone that is on Model Mayhem that I have worked with. Cause without them we're just shooting empty backdrops, and we all know thats no fun. Thanks.
