Jamie K is one of the most fashion forward, creative and driven make-up artists in the industry. With a natural artistic eye and a passion for beauty, she began her journey just being creative on herself which quickly spread to her friends requesting she do their make-up as well. She then realized that she had a gift and decided to pursue it.
Her professional career began in 2007 when she joined the team of one of the most well known cosmetic lines in the world, MAC Cosmetics. There she developed her individual technique, knowledge of product and desire to take her talent past working behind the counter.
She then began assisting her dear friend and celebrity make-up artist, Stephen Moleski. As her mentor, he helped open her third eye in beauty and secrets of the trade. He helped in perfecting her techniques and professionalism on set.
She now has experience in fashion and editorial photo shoots, music videos, runway, commercials and big productions. She has been described as "a beast on set" as far as her confidence and skill with still being able to take direction and produce what it takes to make everyone happy on set.
She prides herself on her work ethic and always comes fully prepared. Her kit is fully stocked with a wide variety of cosmetic lines. She is very much a professional and a perfectionist in her work. She will always be punctual and will never run out on a shoot; She will be there from beginning to end to make sure she can help produce the absolute best finished product.
She's interested in working with anyone that can help her grow in her profession and who also has the same passion and work ethic as she does.
