Brick Wilson came forth from Northern Illinois, on the mean streets of middle-class suburbia where nothing is as it seems. After a sojourn in Miami, he has returned to Chicagoland and is photographing with a vengeance. He does Print Design for a living, and partakes in photo retouching, website design, and illustration/painting when he isn't busy which is never. Brick loves to refer to himself in third person for no actual good reason, and without warning may also employ large words and semicolons because he thinks they make him sound more intelligent. He is up for TFP in the Chicago area, especially if you have a highbrow arty idea.

PS: my work speaks for itself. Please turn up the volume on your speakers if you don't hear it; sometimes it mumbles a little.

Brick Wilson's unfortunate personal quirks as a photographer:
1. Ridiculously sharp photos. I love detail and crispness above anything else, so my web images are large and abuse the Unsharp Mask filter like it's going out of style. This results in great pictures if you're a mannequin, but annoys anyone with actual pores.
2. Terrible at giving direction. It's my opinion that pro models should learn mental telepathy and know what pose is in my head, instead of me having to describe it in wildly vague gestures.
3. I like to ruin my photos with fancy Photoshop effects. Post-processing is boring, so I'd rather make it fun by fooling around with tones & colors & obscure filters. Sometimes I like to wear a beret and speak with a French accent while doing this.
(Disclaimer for the naive: all of the above is teeming with sarcasm)
