I’m a self taught designer with a degree in Environmental Science, and the determination to take this industry by storm! Always the artisan, I sparked my designer eye by making quilts, pillows, curtains and so forth to decorate my room. As good friends do- exploit the talents of their closest buddies- I began the trials and tribulations of garment construction. Making a “birthday suit” or special request along the way, honestly, never knowing that my passion had come to full bloom. I still do this strictly for the love of fashion and to fulfill my artistic craving. However, if everything goes according to plan, I am looking to design (or style) full-time as a paid career.
My brand’s name is derived from the lineage of my maternal grandmother, who recently passed away…in fact, prior to this loss, I was sort of a “phantom-designer”- without a title to call my own. As one of the most classy and stylish women I've ever known, it was only right to pay homage to her by officially naming my line in January of this year.

MLB Collection is a label that specializes in ready-to-wear styles that are current, yet offer a timeless sophistication for women of any fashion. Paying attention to detail, MLB (not the baseball league) is known for hand-embellished garments that give the collection its couture touch . All garments showcased on this page are designed, cut, draped and sewn- whether by hand or machine- by yours truly, that means ME- unless noted otherwise!
