About me
Born and raised in, New York, David Van Allen has been involved in almost all facets of artistic expression. At the age of five, he decided that he would have a career in the arts. After being the only person in 1996 to receive Regents credit for art in New York State, he pursued a career in fine art. He earned his AFA from Munson Williams Proctor Institute of Fine Art (now a division of Pratt) before moving on to the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where he studied Media Arts and Animation. Upon his graduation with a BFA, he received the University’s highest honor, the President’s award, for his senior thesis film. Although his career is focused in motion graphics and animation, he has never lost his love for the fine art foundation on which all arts are based. He now resides in the Philadelphia area where he owns and operates an Emmy award winning company Noir Worldwide LLC.
