John Steinbeck once said "I hate cameras. They are so much more sure than I am about everything." I understand the sentiment, but rather than hate the camera I've embraced it. The camera is an instrument that can be played somberly, adoringly, playfully... I enjoy how I can use a camera to give my visual aesthetics voice.
