Congratulations on the impressive “Stations of the Cross” group show you hosted for local artists. The show revealed a striking diversity in the styles and media of the artists represented, and also the vibrancy of the artistic community. The generosity shown to your fellow artists as colleague and mentor was truly inspiring.

One should make special note in the context of this site that there was an interchange of models who participated in the creation of these works, many of which had a visceral intensity in addition to a compelling humanity in the face of the cosmic and sacred.

One of the special pleasures of the experience at your studios was the unexpected opportunity to view your other work in various stages of completion throughout the space.

Especially fascinating was an opportunity to see the steps taken in creating your sculptural work for the show, from the forms emerging from the clay, the clay sculptural model, the molds and the final work in resin.
