Hi! Thanks for browsing my work. I am an old fashioned style artist, working in traditional mediums; pencil, charcoal, colored pencil, pastel and oil. Im not opposed to nudity, but mostly I like to stay a little on this side of it, keeping things in check, however barely, with a little drapery. I am interested in drawing from life...which involves a lot of sitting still. (I set up movies for my models to watch, most times) I also take some photo reference pics that I use, combined with the life drawing exercise, to create what you see in my port. If you like the drawings I do on site (many of the models seem to!) You may keep them. As I complete more finished works, I will send you a copy, and I often offer my models some of those originals, as well, as they rotate out of my display collection. Enjoy my work, and feel free to leave comments! An artist's ego is a fragile thing, and the stroking of positive feedback of his work is a wonderful force.

I have completed portraits for commission and trade for people all over the US and even in a few other countries as well. I have sold paintings since I was in high school, and done print and commercial advertising work as well. I moved on to portraits and figures about 10 years ago, and tend to drift towards a draped figure or a somewhat intimate portrait for the majority of my work with models.

I am finally catching up on some studio work, and wont be doing as much life drawing as I have been...but there are some of you who REALLY need me to paint you, and so, sacrifices must be made. I will make some time, somehow.
