About me
At the moment, I am doing little modeling. I was able to get into it this past summer because I had a lot of free time as I was doing independant school work. Now I am about half way through this semester and I do not have any time to myself for things other than thesis. I am very anxious to continue building my modeling portfolio...it won't be long. Please bare with me.
About Myself: I am a student at Miami University with a year between me and a Master of Architecture. I will graduate in May of 2010 and will hopefully find some type of work in this rough economy. That is why I am here. If I can’t sell designs, I hope that I can have this as a means at least a little income. I love all forms of art and wish to dabble in all of them. I have always been creative and would like to become so in many different aspects. I'm an amateur model, but I have a very open and artistic mind. I am easy to get along with and work with especially when I am trying to learn. I'm very eager to learn everything I can. Since I am going to school for Architecture, I do not think I will work full time as a model, but It would be great to have it as a second profession. I am open to any ideas for shots so don't hesitate to throw suggestions my way. I would love to build a portfolio of strong work.
I am primarily interested in edgy fashion shots that involve bold statement and great attention light. Lighting I believe makes the image; if lighting is not up to par, then the image appears flat. I want to make a bold connection to the camera. I believe my eyes are my strongest feature and I would like to develop using them to make strong images. Please understand that I am not interested in anything pornographic. Since I will be going into a professional degree, I also do not feel that nude images would be appropriate. At this point, I do not have much money to put toward paying for photographs, but maybe we can work out a deal that will benefit us both if you would like to work together! I am certainly willing to travel if the opportunity comes up, but until May of 2010, it will be hard for me to get away because of my thesis.
People tell me that my best feature are my eyes and I have to agree. I get compliments on them all the time. I am a very slim person at six feet tall and 150 pounds. It is incredibly difficult for me to put on muscle and keep it. I go to the gym regularly in order to keep my muscle tone. Good lighting is my friend when it comes to my body. I am most interested in photographers that pay close attention to lighting a focus for their shots.
